Employment of the First Non-Religious Lead Chaplaincy in the NHS

Lindsay Van Dijk is the first non-religious person to be employed as a full time Lead Chaplain in the NHS.

This appointment is reflective of the work the Network of Pastoral, Spiritual and Religious Care in Health has undertaken over the past few years, in driving the development of an inclusive NHS Chaplaincy service. You can find out about more about Lindsay’s appointment by watching this video from the BBC news page.
